FCAS SUMMIT: Next Generation Fighter, Remote Carrier, and MUM-T – Human Autonomy Teaming Technologies will be required as key enabler for mission success!

The two-day event focused on the Future Combat Air System (FCAS), and the incorporated Next Generation Weapon System (NGWS).

Representatives from the Bundeswehr, industry and research organizations discussed the Next Generation Fighter, the use of unmanned Remote Carrier systems, Combat Cloud and Germany’s defense capability. Ethical issues were also highlighted. 

As a highly innovative mission technology company, Fabian Schmitt outlined an iterative approach to technology maturation for Manned-Unmanned Teaming, one of HAT.tec’s key competencies. We presented the results of recent technology studies that have been conducted by HAT.tec with partners from defence industry.
