HAT.tec Strengthens Leadership Team for European Expansion with Appointment of Chris Blättermann as CTO

Munich / Neubiberg, October 7, 2025 – HAT.tec (Human Autonomy Teaming Technologies), Europe’s leading software company for platform-independent mission management in civil and defense operations, has appointed Chris Blättermann as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

The newly created position expands the leadership team around founders and Co-CEOs Fabian Schmitt and Yannick Brand, marking an important step as the company enters its next growth phase with a strong focus on European market expansion.

About Chris Blättermann

Chris Blättermann brings over 15 years of leadership experience in developing and commercializing complex software and technology systems. Most recently, he served as Head of Software & IT at VoltStorage, a developer of stationary energy storage solutions, where he was responsible for software development and IT infrastructure.

Previously, as VP Software Products at Wirelane, he led the development of software solutions for e-mobility. He also played a key role in scaling riskmethods from an early-stage startup to an international provider of risk management software, serving as CTO and helping guide the company to a successful exit.

Blättermann has also founded his own company – the payment app eDrixx – and gained international experience in Indonesia and the United States. He officially assumed his new role as CTO of HAT.tec on October 1, 2025.
