06 Jul HAT.tec joins forces on EDF project launch EPIIC

HAT.tec GmbH is excited about the eagerly awaited launch of EPIIC, selected winner project on the European Union Defence Fund’s (EDF) 2021 CFP on developing the future of European Defence Technology – 60 defence projects with an overall of € 1.2 bn fundings on development and research projects are backed by the European Union. EPIIC – Enhanced Pilot Interfaces & Interactions for Fighter Cockpit – will focus on new air power capabilities and seeks to ensure the air dominance of the European defence forces by development and assessment of highly innovative and disruptive, interactive technologies for future fighter cockpits. HAT.tec GmbH is amongst the over 20 organizations from 12 European countries composed of a top class of industry corporations, university research departments, and forward-thinking #startups . Our Contribution: #HAT – Human Autonomy Teaming! We ‘ll provide new approaches for Adaptive HMI and Virtual Assistance solutions required to succeed in the Future Operating Environment, drawn from our strong experience in Manned-Unmanned Teaming (#MUMT), cognitive systems and #AI. Together with our German partners Airbus Defence and Space, ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH, Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V., Collins Aerospace, Diehl Defence we are looking forward to upcoming steps!
